During the 9th edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) in Riyadh, The Diwan, in partnership with the NIAS Network, curated a series of late-night Majlis-style gatherings set in a beautiful Greek-style villa. Designed as intimate, off-the-record spaces, these sessions brought together leaders, innovators, and thinkers from across the region to connect beyond the formality of conference halls.

These gatherings captured the spirit of a confident, forward-looking Saudi Arabia, one driven by a transformative Vision 2030 and rapidly emerging as a global hub for ideas, investment, and innovation.

Through this collaboration, The Diwan helped create environments rooted in trust, hospitality, and meaningful conversation, the foundations of progress and partnership across the region.

Dinner & Reception Honoring H.E. Luigi Di Maio

The Diwan hosted an open dinner and reception in Kuwait in honor of H.E. Luigi Di Maio, EU Special Envoy to the Gulf and former Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs. The gathering brought together diplomats, policymakers, leaders, and members of the community for an evening of meaningful dialogue and exchange.

The event highlighted the growing partnership between the Gulf and the European Union, offering a platform to discuss regional cooperation, strategic engagement, and shared opportunities. The Diwan participated in the 7th German–Arab Gulf Dialogue by leading a delegation of distinguished Gulf leaders and emerging youth voices to Berlin. Through a series of panels, roundtable discussions, and high-level engagements, our delegation contributed Gulf perspectives on diplomacy, economic cooperation, innovation, and the future of regional partnerships.

Our involvement ensured strong representation from the GCC, fostering meaningful dialogue with German and European policymakers, scholars, and industry leaders. FDC Summit

At this year’s FDC Summit in Cairo, The Diwan played a central role by bringing the entire Gulf presence to the conference. Private Reception and Tour

Hosted in collaboration with The Advancement of Arab & Gulf Women in America (AGWA), Torba Farm, and the Sherrie Beckstead Luxury Group, this private reception brought together leading voices from Qatar, the GCC, and the U.S. for an evening focused on collaboration, sustainability, and women’s advancement.

Held at Torba Farm, the program featured a guided farm tour and a reception that highlighted Qatar’s agricultural heritage while celebrating cross-border partnerships. The gathering created a meaningful space for dialogue, community building, and the exchange of shared ideas and goals.

The Gulf Diwan

The Gulf Diwan

Hosted under the patronage of Kuwait’s Minister of Information, Culture, and State for Youth Affairs, Abdulrahman Almutairi, The Gulf Diwan was launched on the sidelines of Kuwait’s hosting of the Gulf Cup as a landmark cultural and youth-focused initiative by The Diwan.

The project featured a full event village of seven purpose-built domes, each dedicated to a different experience, from policy discussions and entrepreneurship panels to curated exhibitions, art galleries, and hands-on workshops. Over the course of the tournament, The Gulf Diwan welcomed 150+ speakers and thousands of visitors, creating a vibrant space for dialogue, creativity, and community engagement.

The Gulf Diwan set a new standard for public programming during major regional events, showcasing the power of youth-driven platforms in shaping culture, ideas, and collaboration across the Gulf.

Organized entirely by The Diwan, the Gulf Creatives Conference (GCC) @ Harvard stood as the largest Gulf-focused gathering in the United States. Over three days, the conference hosted 150+ speakers and over 1,000 attendees, bringing together diplomats, executives, policymakers, academics, and young leaders from across the Gulf and around the world.

The program featured high-level panels, interactive workshops, and networking sessions that explored the Gulf’s rapidly evolving economic, diplomatic, and cultural landscape. From discussions on investment and energy to youth leadership and regional cooperation, the conference provided a comprehensive platform for engaging with the opportunities and challenges shaping the GCC’s future.

The event marked a major milestone in The Diwan’s mission to create meaningful, globally connected dialogue about the Arab world.

Shaping the Arab World Conference at Harvard University

The Diwan’s inaugural conference brought together leading diplomats, policymakers, and experts for a day of dialogue on the region’s evolving opportunities and challenges. The program featured keynote remarks by Sheikha Alzain AlSabah, along with contributions from H.E. Ambassador Osama Abdelkhalek, H.E. Ambassador Dr. Mohammed bin Awad AlHassan, H.E. Sheikha Azza Jaber AlAli AlSabah, Farah Kaddah, Dr. Dalal Bouresli, and H.E. Rtd. General Mohammed Khaled AlKhudhar.
